Job Title: SMT Robotics Operator
Reports To: Production Supervisor
Department: SMT
Openings: 1 (afternoon), 1 (day)
Shift: Day: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM/ Afternoon: 4:15 PM – 12:15 AM
Rate: $17.60/ hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Set-up and teardown of SMT placement equipment as instructed by shift supervisor
- Hand place SMT parts prior to reflow – when required
- Assist QA inspectors with first article inspections.
- When required provide support to other SMT operators.
- Audit kits delivered from Inventory.
- Point of use inventory control – part picking and put away
- Perform basic maintenance of workstations and equipment as instructed by shift supervisor
Qualifications:
- Mechanical skills
- Ability and willing to learn SMT set-up
- Basic SMT skills is an asset
- Ability to lift about 20 lbs
- Basic communication skills in both written and oral English
