Caregiver / Personal Support Worker (Part-Time) Male client – Thorsby Area
Location: Farmhouse located a few minutes from Thorsby, AB
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Start Date: Immediate
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver/Personal Support Worker to provide support for a male client living in a private farmhouse just outside Thorsby.
Schedule:
- 7 days per week
- 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- Weekend shifts are mandatory
- Opportunity for every other week relief, as another caregiver can cover a few days, allowing time off after working extended stretches (typically 10+ consecutive days)
Responsibilities:
- Personal care assistance
- Grooming and hygiene support
- Medication reminders
- Meal preparation
- Grocery shopping
- Light housekeeping
- Laundry
- Making/changing beds
- Providing companionship and conversation
Requirements:
- Previous caregiving or personal support experience preferred
- Reliable transportation required
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional
- Ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills
Compensation:
- $20.00 per hour
- No travel pay provided
