JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for providing prompt, courteous and efficient service to customers. Advise customers on appropriate merchandise and related items. Ticketing and replenishing merchandise, cycle counting, general housekeeping of shelves, merchandising, restocking and staying current with trends in the industry. Their specialized duties include providing colour and paint product selection advice, receiving products, merchandising, restocking, and staying current with industry trends.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Advise and serve customers' needs, including assessing needs, proposing solutions, and dyeing and matching paint products.
- Suggest and advise additional products, such as brushes and rollers.
- Work safely in a retail store environment with store responsibilities such as ensuring the store is clean and well-stocked.
- Lift, move, and stock store products while following safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Prior paint and retail experience.
- Creative abilities for making attractive in-store displays.
- Willingness to continually develop professional skills and knowledge base.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team atmosphere.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports directly to the Store Manager.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
