Job Summary
We are seeking a Licenced Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience as an industrial electrician and possess a strong understanding of electrical systems, including low voltage applications. This role involves working with various equipment and machinery to maintain, and repair electrical systems in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to perform installations and repairs effectively.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and conduct necessary repairs to ensure optimal functionality.
- Collaborate with others to complete projects efficiently.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working on electrical systems to minimize risks.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Requirements
- 442 or 309a Journeyperson license is a MUST.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage applications.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics related to electrical installations.
- Familiarity with PLC and automation.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical problems effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
This position is part time or permanent, 12 hour continental shifts day and night as a maintenance technician within a prominent organization and a leader in the food industry manufacturing.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
