Irrigation Installer & Labourer
Blacks Irrigation & Fusion Ltd. installs and maintains irrigation systems in the Calgary Area.
As our Irrigation Installer & Labourer, you will be responsible for helping install residential and commercial irrigation systems including pipe, valves, sprinkler heads, drip systems, and controllers.
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Install residential and commercial irrigation systems.
- Assist with trenching, pipe installation, wiring, valves, sprinkler heads, and controllers with your crew.
- Be willing to trench/excavate with equipment if qualified or by hand when required.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, compact equipment, and trenching machinery safely when required.
- Load, unload, organize, and maintain tools, materials, and equipment.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
- Work efficiently as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail.
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, crew members, and customers.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards
- Follow safety protocols at all times.
Preferred Skills and Experience required:
- Previous irrigation, landscaping, construction, or labour experience considered an asset.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, pumps is an asset.
- Strong work ethic with reliable attendance and punctuality
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license, with ability to get to and from the jobsites.
- First Aid or safety certifications

Schedule:
- 8–10-hour shift
- Monday to Friday, Saturdays if required
- Weekend availability
Licence/Certification:
- Drivers Licence (required)
- First Aid (preferred)
- PPE - Hard Hat, Safety Vest, Steel Toe Boots (required)
- Irrigation certifications (bonus)
