As a Forklift / Small Engine Repair Mechanic you get to work with a number of our Key Clients. Job Duties include.
- Perform repairs and service on various types of material handling equipment, including propane and electric forklifts, skyjacks, pallet jacks
- Build and maintain relationships with external vendors, partners and technicians
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment
- All other duties as assigned
A Qualified Fork Lift Technician .......
- Working knowledge of all makes/models of forklifts
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems of battery and engine powered forklifts
- Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and provide repair/service solutions
- Ability to take direction and work independently as required
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
- Working knowledge of hydraulic systems
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong ability to multi-task and adapt to a fast paced and changing environment
- Experience in the use of grinders, drill press, air compressor and common hand and power tools
- Experience in prep and paint duties
- Relevant work experience required
- Min. 3- 5 years Experience
- Excellent Organizational and Communication Skills
- Minimum Grade 12 Education
Hourly Wage Range $24.00-$36.00 per hour
