Terra Nova Salon & Day Spa is seeking a friendly, professional, and highly organized Front Desk Customer Service Associate to join our team. We are looking for someone who is available to work days, evenings, and weekends.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a very fast-paced, high-end salon environment, enjoys multitasking, and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
Main Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet customers in person and over the phone with warmth and professionalism.
- Efficiently schedule and manage appointments to maximize the schedules of our stylists and estheticians.
- Communicate appointment bookings, changes, and last-minute updates with stylists and estheticians.
- Promote salon services, seasonal promotions, retail products, gift cards, and service packages.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records using the salon's computerized booking system.
- Answer customer questions regarding products and services.
- Assist with retail merchandising, stocking, and maintaining a clean, organized reception and retail area.
- Help ensure the salon operates smoothly during busy periods by effectively prioritizing multiple tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Previous customer service or reception experience is an asset.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- A positive, customer-focused attitude with outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Well-groomed, professional, dependable, and punctual.
- A team player who is also comfortable working independently.
- Ability to remain calm, organized, and efficient in a very fast-paced environment .
