Roof Tops Roofing Ltd. is seeking experienced and motivated Commercial Flat Roofers to join our growing team. As a Commercial Flat Roofer, you will be responsible for performing roof repairs, replacements, and maintenance for commercial and industrial clients. This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable company known for quality work and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain flat roofing systems, including EPDM, TPO, PVC, Modified Bitumen, and Build-up Roofs (BUR).
- Handle all aspects of roofing work, including tearing off, laying insulation, installing vapour barriers, and applying membranes.
- Ensure all work complies with company standards, safety regulations, and building codes.
- Operate roofing equipment and tools effectively and safely.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Perform regular roof inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure roof longevity.
- Provide accurate reports and take photos of completed work and any identified deficiencies.
- Assist in emergency roof repairs as needed, providing 24/7 service.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial flat roofing.
- Proficient in all aspects of flat roofing systems (installation, repairs, maintenance).
- Strong understanding of safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
- Valid Working at Heights Certification (Preferred).
- Valid driver license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Physically able to life heavy materials.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of commercial/industrial roofing systems (e.g., TPO, EPDM, BUR).
- Ability to work at heights and handle physical demands of the job.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Safety-conscious and able to adhere to safety standards and protocols
