Pay: $30.00–$45.00 per hour (depending on experience)
About Raytech
Raytech Forklift Service Ltd. is a growing forklift sales, service, and rental company serving Milton and the Greater Toronto Area. We provide preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, annual safety inspections, rentals, and equipment sales for a wide variety of material handling equipment.
We're looking for a dependable Field Service Technician to join our team. If you enjoy diagnosing equipment, solving problems, and taking pride in quality workmanship, we'd like to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain electric and internal combustion forklifts
- Perform preventative maintenance and annual safety inspections
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and drive system issues
- Complete service calls at customer facilities throughout the GTA
- Accurately complete digital work orders using a company-provided tablet
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs and recommendations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-equipped service vehicle
Qualifications
- Experience repairing forklifts or other mobile equipment
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage daily service calls
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Valid Ontario Class G Driver's Licence with a clean driver's abstract
- Own basic hand tools
Experience working on Raymond, Toyota, Crown, or similar material handling equipment is considered an asset.
Journeyman certification or related trade experience is considered an asset but is not required.
Applicants with experience in heavy equipment, construction equipment, agricultural equipment, truck and coach, or automotive repair are encouraged to apply.
