We’re looking for an experienced Shallow Utilities Operator to join our crew and contribute to our continued success.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment for shallow utilities installation (gas, power, telecom).
- Excavate, trench, backfill, and prepare sites according to specifications and safety standards.
- Read and interpret site plans and blueprints.
- Perform equipment inspections, basic maintenance, and ensure proper operation.
- Work collaboratively with crew members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
- Follow all company, industry, and regulatory safety standards.
Qualifications
- Experience operating heavy equipment in shallow utilities or related construction.
- Valid operator’s license/certifications.
- Knowledge of shallow utility installation methods and safety practices.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites.
