Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing and executing a variety of events, ensuring that each occasion runs smoothly and meets the expectations of our clients. This role requires strong time management skills and a passion for events and weddings.
Duties
- Assist in coordinating all aspects of events, including logistics, wedding party management, guest experience, and problem solving with little supervision
- Collaborate with other vendors to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Ensure a high standard of service for client experience and maximize event success.
- Manage event timelines, ensuring all details are executed as planned.
Experience
- Proven experience in event planning or coordination is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Familiarity with guest services principles especially in a restaurant or hotel setting is advantageous.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude and delivering high-quality results.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong negotiation skills.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 10+ hours).
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; travel to off-site locations may be required.
