Premier Graphics, one of Canada’s top providers of vehicle wraps, signage, and large-format print solutions, is looking for a dedicated Signage and Graphics - Shop assistant to join our production team in Richmond, BC. You’ll play a critical role behind the scenes, ensuring every job that leaves our shop meets the high standards our clients expect.
About the Role
As a Signage and Graphics - Shop assistant, you’ll handle the full range of in-shop production tasks — from printing, laminating, trimming, and weeding to prepping graphics for installation. You’ll be the backbone that keeps jobs moving on time, with a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate laminators, plotters, and Summa Routers
- Manage shipping of orders
- Prep and finish vinyl graphics, including cutting, weeding, masking, and packaging
- Maintain an organized production area and manage materials inventory
- Collaborate with installers and Operations Manager to meet tight deadlines
- Assist with general shop maintenance and upkeep
- Follow health & safety guidelines to ensure a clean, safe work environment
What You Bring
- 1–2 years’ experience in graphics production, sign making, or large-format printing (asset but not mandatory for the right quick learner)
- Solid understanding of vinyl, substrates, and production tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Physically capable of lifting rolls, and moving materials around the shop
- A positive, can-do attitude with a team-first mindset
- Reliable transportation to our Richmond location
