Position Summary:
We are seeking experienced, passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educators, who have experience working with Infants and Toddlers, to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for children and a commitment to their development and well-being. As an ECE, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum, maintaining a safe and engaging learning environment, and fostering positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lessons that stimulate children’s intellectual, social, emotional, and physical growth.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care at all times.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and inviting classroom environment.
- Build strong relationships with families through regular communication about their child’s progress and daily activities.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with other educators and staff to create a positive and inclusive environment.
Qualifications:
- Certificate, Degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field.
- Valid Alberta ECE Level 1 certification.
- Previous experience working in a childcare setting is required.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Police Clearance Check with vulnerable sector search is required.
Salary and Benefits
- Hourly Wages based on experience
