Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician 310S to join our dynamic team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have dealership experience, strong mechanical knowledge, and proficiency with hand and power tools. Candidates should be comfortable with heavy lifting and working with schematics and assembly processes. Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle diagnostics and repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and schematics to troubleshoot and repair automotive systems
- Weld and perform mechanical repairs as needed to ensure vehicle safety and performance
- Assist with vehicle assembly and disassembly during repairs or upgrades
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and recommendations clearly
Experience
- Dealership experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with manufacturer-specific procedures
- Proven mechanic experience in automotive repair or maintenance roles
- Knowledge of schematics, assembly processes, and automotive systems
- Experience with welding, heavy lifting, and the use of various hand and power tools
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in customer service within an automotive setting is advantageous
