Pharmacy Assistant – Full-Time Permanent Opportunity

We are seeking a Full-Time Permanent Pharmacy Assistant to join a busy and well-supported community pharmacy in Sarnia, Ontario. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pharmacy assistant looking to join a collaborative pharmacy team with stable hours, strong support staffing, and long-term growth potential.
Job Summary
Role: Pharmacy Assistant
Location: Bright’s Grove, Ontario (Sarnia Area)
Position Type: Full-Time Permanent
Start Date: ASAP
System: Kroll
Schedule: Weekdays: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Hours: Approximately 32–40 hours per week
Compensation: $20–$25 per hour, based on experience
Work Environment
- Approximately 200 prescriptions per day
- 4 overlapping Pharmacy Assistants
- 2 overlapping Pharmacists
- Team-oriented and collaborative workflow
- Established community pharmacy setting
Responsibilities
- Assist with prescription preparation, packaging, and labelling
- Process prescriptions using the Kroll system
- Support pharmacists with daily pharmacy workflow
- Maintain accurate patient and prescription records
- Deliver strong customer service and communication
- Ensure workflow efficiency and attention to detail throughout the day
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent Canadian pharmacy experience
- Experience with Kroll preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
