We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to support operations in an outdoor industrial yard environment. The successful candidate will primarily operate excavators and assist with general equipment maintenance and safe daily operations.
THE JOB
- Operate heavy equipment, primarily excavators
- Perform daily equipment maintenance including cleaning, lubrication, and refilling fluid levels
- Conduct pre-operational inspections and safety checks
- Perform minor repairs and report mechanical issues or deficiencies
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions

- $22.50 – $25.00/hour + 4% vacation pay
- Temporary to permanent opportunity
- Monday to Friday: 6:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Saturday shifts are typically mornings only
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years of heavy equipment operating experience
- Class 1A license preferred; minimum Class 3A required depending on experience
- Clean driving abstract
- Strong safety awareness and reliability
