Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and sales, with a strong ability to communicate effectively and provide exceptional service to our customers.
Duties
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with product inquiries and purchases
- Utilize Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized store
- Demonstrate product knowledge to customers and offer recommendations
- Handle cash transactions and operate cash registers
- Assist in restocking merchandise and maintaining inventory levels
- Engage in upselling and cross-selling products to customers
- Support the store team in achieving sales goals
Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience preferred but not required
- Comfortable using POS systems and handling cash transactions
- Well-organized, with the ability to maintain a tidy sales floor and manage inventory
- Background or strong interest in art, design, or related fields
- Experience in galleries, museums, or boutique retail is a plus
- Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency preferred
- Available to work part-time, including weekends or holidays as needed
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
