Apprentice Electrician (Level 1,2,3,4)

Job description
As one of Saskatchewan's most innovative companies and a leader in the electrical construction, we have openings for Apprentice Electricians for residential and commercial work in Regina and surrounding area. Must be able to work legally in Canada.
First Class Electric is looking for hard-working, enthusiastic individuals to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and numerical skills. Must be analytical, organized, motivated, detail-oriented and driven. We offer competitive Apprentice rates depending on training and education level as per the Apprenticeship levels on a scale, along with PPE and tool allowance (after probation period).
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret electrical, mechanical and architectural drawings and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layout
- Cut, thread, bend, assemble and install conduits and other types of electrical conductor enclosures and fitting
- Pull wire through conduits and holes in walls and floors
- Position, maintain and install distribution and control equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breaker, panels and fuse enclosures
- Install, replace, maintain and repair electrical systems and related electrical equipment
- Install data cabling
- Splice, join and connect wire to form circuits
- Test circuits to ensure integrity and safety
- Install and maintain fibre optic systems.
Qualifications and skills
- Good communication skills including reading skills
- Ability to plan, perform and execute
- Represent First Class Electric in a respectful and courteous manner
- Desire to work on unique, interesting and challenging projects
- An aptitude for math
- Mechanical ability
- The ability to get along well with co-workers
- The ability to do precision work
