Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all linens, towels, and guest laundry are cleaned, folded, and maintained to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Previous hotel experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided to ensure your success.
Duties
- Operate laundry machines efficiently to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and guest clothing
- Sort laundry items according to type and cleaning requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
- Inspect linens for stains or damages and report any issues promptly
- Ensure timely processing of laundry to meet operational needs
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals
- Assist with other cleaning duties around the hotel as needed to support overall cleanliness standards
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel laundry or cleaning services is preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with laundry equipment and cleaning supplies is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a team environment
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Prior experience in hospitality or related fields is considered a plus but not required
