Job Summary
We are seeking crane operators and swampers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating cranes and rigging equipment to lift, move, and position heavy materials on construction sites. This role requires working as a team, communicating, problem solving and awareness of surroundings. Willing to train and room to advance.
Responsibilities
- Operate or rig on large knuckle booms and 45 ton stiff boom
- Perform rigging duties, including attaching loads securely and inspecting rigging gear before use.
- Conduct routine inspections of crane and rigging equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns.
- Follow all safety protocols and industry regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other on site crews
- Assist with mechanical troubleshooting and minor repairs when necessary.
- Maintain detailed logs of operations, inspections, and maintenance activities.
Skills
- Experience With cranes or other lifting devices is helpful but willing to train.
- Ability to operate cranes safely and efficiently in various weather conditions.
- Familiarity with rigging techniques and safety standards within the industry.
- Customer service orientation to coordinate effectively with clients or site managers when needed.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads safely. This position offers an opportunity to work on dynamic projects within a professional construction environment where safety, skill development, and teamwork are prioritized.
Pay: $25.00-$50.00 per hour
