Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen Supervisor to lead our closing team and ensure the smooth operation of our food service environment. In this role, you will manage kitchen staff, uphold food safety standards, and deliver exceptional experiences for our guests. Your leadership will inspire a collaborative atmosphere focused on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Supervise service and cooking activities to ensure high-quality standards are maintained.
- Manage kitchen staff by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing training to foster skill development.
- Oversee food safety practices, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures in compliance with health regulations.
- Coordinate with the culinary team to execute service, manage inventory, and control food costs effectively.
- Ensure smooth shift management by organizing schedules, overseeing workflow, and resolving operational issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment that adheres to all safety protocols.
- Take orders from customers and provide them with information and friendly service
- Oversee closing procedures to ensure the kitchen is properly reset at the end of the night
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced food service or restaurant environment with a strong background in food production and culinary operations.
- Extensive knowledge of food safety standards, handling procedures, and sanitation practices within the food industry.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively.
- Experience managing kitchen operations including shift management, inventory control, and cost management.
- Familiarity with hospitality management principles and customer service excellence in restaurant settings.
- Prior experience in culinary roles such as cook or chef is highly desirable, especially within hospitality or restaurant environments.
- Experience with POS systems as we are counter service and take food orders directly.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
