Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. This role is essential in supporting various construction, manufacturing, or maintenance projects by performing physical tasks that contribute to the overall success of our operations. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, adaptable, and eager to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience is a plus but not required, as training will be provided. This position offers an opportunity to develop hands-on skills and grow within the company.
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Prepare work sites by cleaning, organizing, and setting up necessary tools and supplies
- Perform manual labour such as lifting, carrying, digging, and moving objects
- Support skilled tradespeople with their tasks as needed
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Operate basic tools and machinery under supervision
- Adhere to project timelines and quality standards
- Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to supervisors promptly
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable transportation is preferred but not mandatory
- Prior experience in construction, manufacturing, or maintenance is advantageous but not necessary
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different job requirements
