Bike Builder & Seasonal Product Assembly Technician

Compensation: $24.00 - $34.00 per hour (based on experience)
About the Role
Jeza Services Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bike Builder & Seasonal Product Assembly Technician to support our Canadian Tire retail partners throughout the Ottawa-valley region. We have been doing seasonal product assembly with Canadian tire stores for over 10+ years. We provide tools, uniforms, and training. Candidates can use their own tools if preferred but we provide everything required.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in quality workmanship, and has previous experience building and servicing bicycles. During the busy spring and summer season, you will be responsible for assembling bicycles and other retail products to manufacturer specifications. For candidates interested in long-term employment, year-round and salary opportunities are available through our commercial installation and maintenance contracts.
Responsibilities
- Assemble bicycles to manufacturer standards and safety requirements
- Perform quality inspections, repairs and adjustments on customer used bicycles
- Assemble a wide range of seasonal retail products including patio furniture, BBQs, fitness equipment, and other merchandise as required
- Maintain accurate records of completed assemblies
- Communicate professionally with store management and company supervisors
- Travel between assigned Canadian Tire store locations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Qualifications
- Previous bicycle assembly or bicycle mechanic experience strongly preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to lift and move products up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Carpentry experience is considered an asset
