Key Responsibilities:

Compile orders and instructions received from customers

Organize tasks to accomplish assigned work

Oversee and plan the operational logistics of the organization

Track and complete work orders in a timely manner
-
Monitor the movement of supplies and materials between departments
-
Prepare and submit operational and progress reports
-
Arrange for maintenance and repair work as required
-
Maintain work records and operational logs
-
Organize warehouse and work areas to ensure efficiency
-
Perform general office and administrative duties
-
Resolve work-related issues, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
-
Compile worksheets and specifications for customer orders
-
Coordinate activities with warehouse and production units
-
Monitor production progress and follow up on work orders
-
Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
-
Conduct performance reviews and coordinate, assign, and review work
-
Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
-
Communicate with ships, aircraft, and other remote operations
-
Keep track of shipments and organize inventory records
Qualifications:
-
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
-
1 year to less than 2 years of experience in freight forwarding
-
Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFFA) certification is considered an asset
-
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
