About the Role
We are currently seeking an individual for the role of Laboratory Technician at our production laboratory located in Kemptville. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication, time management and analytical skills.
What You Will Do:

Use of accepted protocols to ensure that all processes required for routine semen production meet established quality and quantity guidelines

Labeling, dilution, fill-sealing, racking, freezing, extender-supplies, maintenance, lab collection, equipment hygiene, lab cleanliness, and liquid nitrogen dispensing

Lab data base management and maintenance of records and lab material inventories

Participating inoccasional staff meetings
What You Need to Succeed:

College Diploma or equivalent education and experience

Experience in a lab production facility preferred

Understanding of lab production,quality control, production database maintenance and recording

Ability to work in a team environment

Physically fit with acute manual dexterity, and able to stand for long periods of time

Able to tolerate work in the cold room environment with temperatures ranging from 3°- 25° C
-
Knowledge of the agriculture industry is an asset

Work Location & Minimum Pay Rate
This is an in-person role requiring 5 days per week in our Kemptville location. This position offers a minimum starting salary of $23.00/hour, with potential compensation enhancements based on applicable experience and qualifications.
