Job Description:
As a Tire Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and performance of our customers' vehicles by providing tire maintenance and repair services. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Mounting, balancing, and installing tires on a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs.
Conducting tire rotations and performing wheel alignments to optimize tire wear patterns and vehicle handling.
Inspecting tires for damage, wear, and punctures, and recommending appropriate repair or replacement options to customers.
Maintaining accurate records of tire services performed and ensuring proper documentation.
Operating and maintaining tire shop equipment, including tire changers, balancers, and alignment machines.
Adhering to safety protocols and ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience as a Tire Technician or in a related automotive role is preferred but not required.
Strong knowledge of tire brands, types, sizes, and specifications.
Proficient in using tire shop equipment and tools.
Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina to handle heavy tires and equipment.
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
