Duties
- Prepare fresh sandwiches and food items following established recipes and safety standards to deliver consistent quality.
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system, including Micros POS, accurately processing transactions and handling cash with precision.
- Manage food handling tasks with attention to sanitation, food safety, and proper storage to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and equipment through regular sanitation practices.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety.
- Handle customer inquiries or concerns professionally, resolving issues promptly to promote satisfaction and loyalty.
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or fast-food environment is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS for accurate transaction processing.
- Strong cash handling skills combined with basic math proficiency for accurate change calculation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and effective communication abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and restaurant operations is advantageous.
