Job Summary
We are looking for a landscape labourer to assist with our maintenance crew. Your tasks would include Trimming, push mowing, gardening, litter pickup, etc.
We are not interested in someone who is not a team player, no shows, consistently being late, etc is taken seriously and will result in termination of position.
Duties
- Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers using hand tools and power tools.
- Support excavation activities with mechanical equipment such as excavators, ensuring proper site preparation.
- Perform general gardening tasks like pruning, mowing, weeding, and mulching to keep outdoor spaces pristine.
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as edging, aerating soil, and applying fertilizers.
- Support team members in site cleanup, material handling, and equipment maintenance to ensure smooth project progress.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction, gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with hand tools (shovels, rakes) and power tools (trimmers, drills) used in landscaping tasks.
- Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while working with machinery and on active construction sites.
- Strong physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to stand, lift, bend and carry materials comfortably.
- A proactive attitude with excellent teamwork skills; eager to learn new techniques and contribute positively to the team.
