We’re currently looking for a Turf Maintenance Crew Lead to manage our condo property routes. If you’re organized, experienced in turf and grounds care, and enjoy leading a small team with autonomy and pride, this is a fantastic opportunity.
The Role – Turf Maintenance Crew Lead (Condo Division)
As a Crew Lead for our condo maintenance division, you’ll be responsible for managing daily site tasks, leading 2-3 crew members, and ensuring properties are clean, safe, and beautifully maintained. You’ll represent our company on-site and be trusted to keep things running smoothly with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prep and load your truck, trailer, and tools each morning
- Drive your crew to assigned condo sites
- Mow, trim, edge, and blow turf
- Perform seasonal cleanups and turf treatments (aeration, fertilization, etc.)
- Debris removal
- Keep properties free of hazards, with a polished, professional appearance
- Communicate clearly with office staff, provide status updates, and report any site issues
- Ensure safety, efficiency, and crew performance at every property
- Respect and uphold the rules of shared living environments
What You Bring:
- 3+ years of landscape or turf maintenance experience, with leadership responsibilities
- Experience working on multi-unit or condo properties is a strong asset
- Confident operating mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other equipment
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
- Comfortable driving a truck and trailer through city routes
- Reliable transportation to our yard (no public transit access)
- Strong English communication (spoken and written)
- Able to lift heavy equipment, work long days, and thrive in all weather conditions
- Tech-savvy enough to complete digital reports and communicate via mobile apps
- WHMIS or other safety training is a bonus
