Job Title: Bakery Delivery Driver job Overview
We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and detail-oriented Bakery Delivery Driver to join our team! In this key role, you will be the face of our bakery, ensuring our freshly baked goods arrive safely and on time to our commercial partners, including local cafes, restaurants, hotels.

Key Responsibilities
- Product Delivery: Safely operate company delivery vehicles along assigned commercial routes, strictly adhering to traffic laws and safety standards.
- Loading & Handling: Carefully load, unload, and secure delicate baked goods using rolling bread racks, hand trucks, and dollies to prevent product damage during transit.
- Customer Excellence: Build strong, friendly relationships with receiving managers, chefs, and store personnel at commercial drop-off points.
- Route Optimization: Execute efficient delivery routes to guarantee tight delivery windows and optimize fuel consumption.
- Order Accuracy: Verify order manifests against deliveries at each location; accurately document and communicate any discrepancies or returns.
- Food Safety & Vehicle Hygiene: Maintain high sanitation standards inside the delivery vehicle to comply with food handling regulations.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre- and post-trip inspections (checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and lights); coordinate routine maintenance or repairs as needed.
- Detailed Record-Keeping: Keep accurate daily logs of deliveries, vehicle inspections, and route timing.
Qualifications & Requirements
- License & Experience: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Prior commercial driving or route delivery experience (especially in food/beverage) is strongly preferred.
- Early Morning Availability: Ability to work early morning shifts consistently to meet client delivery deadlines.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull heavy rolling racks, and spend significant time loading, unloading, and driving.
- Customer-Centric: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to represent our brand professionally.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Basic mechanical awareness for basic troubleshooting during vehicle inspections is a plus.
