We currently have a full-time opening for an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to support our Real Estate Conveyancing practice. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will assume a position of significant responsibility, including (among other duties):
- Perform all aspects of residential and commercial real estate conveyancing from file opening to closing with the assistance of our conveyancer.
- Liaise with clients, realtors, lenders, mortgage brokers, and other law firms to ensure timely completion of transactions.
- Coordinate and manage closing dates, appointments, and related calendar deadlines.
- Conduct title and corporate searches and review supporting documentation.
- Prepare and submit Land Title Office and electronic filing documents.
- Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical files.
- Assist with general office administration and related legal administrative tasks.
- Ensure compliance with Law Society trust accounting procedures and internal policies.
QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience in real estate conveyancing and legal administration.
- Graduation from a recognized Legal Administrative Assistant program or equivalent education and experience.
- Strong knowledge of residential and commercial conveyancing procedures and Land Title Office requirements.
- Experience using conveyancing software such as E-Conveyance, Unity, LTSA applications, or similar programs.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Excellent attention to detail, proofreading abilities, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Professional communication skills and a strong commitment to client service.
