We are a local, intimate Japanese delivery and catering business located in East Vancouver and we would love for you to join our team!
We are currently looking for a Sushi Chef -
SUSHI CHEF REQUIREMENTS:
- Extensive knowledge in all sushi applications
- Must be able to produce large quantities of sushi rolls/nigiri in timely manner
- Must have knowledge and ability to break-down and process whole fish as needed for all uses
- Keep up with all necessary sushi prep to ensure all items are present to fulfill sushi orders
- Perform all sushi related tasks following all food safe requirements and ensure all products are of highest quality
- Able to work early mornings and long hours as required to fulfil sushi orders
- Comfortable with working at on site catering events providing exceptional service
- Ability to be creative and suggest new sushi items
- Cooks with confidence and a great attitude
- Full time
- Salary/Hourly position(based on experience/ability)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$30.46 per hour
Experience:
- Sushi Preparation: 1 year (preferred)
Work Location: In person
