POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Lead the planning and implementation of specific projects.
· Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables.
· Define project tasks and resource requirements.
· Plan and schedule project timelines.
· Assemble and coordinate project staff.
· Manage project budget.
· Manage project resource allocation.
· Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
· Provide direction and support to project team.
· Develop and maintain a relationship with the customer that reflects a partnership approach and demonstrates sound understanding of the customer’s needs. Develops a customer service culture throughout the project. Effectively resolves problems and concerns of the client.
· Ensure quality assurance goals are achieved.
· Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders.
· Present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions.
· Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
· Conduct project evaluations and assessments of results.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· A minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management.
· Post-secondary education in engineering or related technical discipline.
· Direct work experience in the design and/or fabrication of custom process equipment.
· Knowledge of pharmaceutical equipment design and documentation requirements an asset.
· Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
· Proven experience in risk and change management.
· Skillful use of software tools such as Microsoft Office, Visio, Microsoft Project or equivalent.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
· Normal office environment with frequent sitting, standing, and walking around the floor.
· Required to use safety and personal protective equipment when on the production floor.
