Red Road Recovery- Red Road North is looking for an experienced Interim Executive Director to Manage our Inpatient Recovery Centre in Terrace, BC!
Located 25 minutes outside of Terrace, our Treatment Centre is located on over 80 acres of untouched, awe-inspiring scenery.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Executive Director is responsible for the overall leadership, operational performance and success of our inpatient addiction treatment facility.
The position is accountable for client care, compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards and managing financial performance (P&L and capital expenditures) of the centre.
The Executive Director will also ensure an atmosphere of effective, high quality customer service to both patients and their referents, and promoting a dignified and professional treatment environment for our clients, residents and staff.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the leadership and administration of Inpatient Services. Oversees Operations Manager, Clinical Services, Food Services and Maintenance
- Responsible for the fiscal management of the programs, including management of budgeted census, revenue and expenses.
- Collaborates with the Senior Director of Programming and Clinical Oversight and clinical team to ensure consistent communication and alignment with treatment goals of clinical team, referent, and patient.
- Develops and fosters a strong customer service atmosphere within all programs and services. Monitors client satisfaction in this area.
- Contributes to the development of a system-wide quality improvement plan based on policies designed to ensure the delivery of services that are consistent, effective, and productive.
- Ensures team effectiveness through hiring of qualified staff, coordinating orientation and training,
- Work with HR to facilitate recruitment and retention, following progressive discipline guidelines, and ensuring that personnel are qualified and able to provide a high level of service.
- Oversees implementation and rollout of new programming initiatives as directed by the COO.
- Ensure policies and procedures are current with all regulatory requirements and that policies around employee and patient conduct are strictly and uniformly enforced.
- Ensures adherence to privacy and confidentiality standards such as in patient record management.
- Facilitates regular management team meetings and other meetings as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION
- Experience in inpatient services, inpatient addiction or mental health treatment field
- Post secondary education is required and a masters degree in social work, counseling, human services, business administration or closely related field would be an asset.
- Proven management experience leading a large team in a healthcare environment.
- Strategic thinker with experience in budget development and management.
- Experience working with CARF accreditation standards preferred.
- Authentic, humble and mindful leadership skills.
- Fluent understanding of 12-step recovery programs.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Must have excellent verbal, social, public speaking and writing skills.
- Must have a bias for action and independent judgment to determine appropriate course of action in resolving problems and emergencies.
- Ability to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary, culturally diverse setting with clients, families, staff and regulatory agencies.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: $110,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
