We are looking for a Full-Time Sales Estimator to join our Sylvan Lake Home Hardware Business Centre location. This role will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, driving sales, and quoting materials and supplies to customers daily.

Job Description:
· Sales, customer service and estimating experience in the building and construction industry
· Ability to multi-task and provide first-class service to all customers and contractors
· Handle inquiries regarding pricing, availability, scheduling and products
· Advise customers on product suitability, options and installation requirements
· Generate quotations, options and deliverables documented in the proposals
· Present and explain terms and conditions and help negotiate to close sales
· Process orders which include order entries, compile all documents required for complete sales order file, enter sales bookings reports and order revisions
· Other related duties as required
Qualifications:
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Self-motivated, possess high energy, is enthusiastic and dedicated to providing excellent customer service
· Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking skills, documentation, research and resolution skills
· Understanding of expense tracking, how to follow a budget, and pricing
· Extensive understanding of construction methods and materials required
· Estimate materials and prepare project quotations
· Follow up on internal sales leads with consistent and professional communication
· Generate new business through cold calls, tenders, and prospecting
· Build relationships with Contractors, Architects, Designers, and Homeowners
· Assist customers at the sales desk with hardware and building material inquiries when required
· Manage and grow a defined sales territory
