CNC Industries is a prominent manufacturer of OEM components for the Mining, Construction, Earthmoving Industries, and specialized parts used in the Oil Extraction process. Our broad range of CNC and conventional machinery paired with over 40 years of experience provides us the ability to complete projects of any size. To serve the changing global needs of our clients, our innovative Edmonton, Alberta facility is equipped with some of the most technically advanced CNC machinery available today.
We are currently seeking an experience Machinist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong machining background, competent working on complex components while observing API Quality Management Standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate the company’s Core Values
- Responsible for ensuring the Health & Safety of themselves and others
- Report any safety injuries or incidents that occur immediately and assist in investigations as required
- Machine components using CNC equipment as per document requirements
- Set-up and operate machines performing first article manufacturing when required
- Record measurements and fill out inspection log sheets as required
- Document and report any deficiencies as per Quality Management Standards
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines as required
- Liaise with Team Lead to resolve any machining or assembly issues that may arise
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ability to run more than one machine when requested
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
- Journeypersons Certificate is an asset, however, prior experience as a Machinist is considered
- Must be able read and interpret manufacturing drawings
- Understanding of machine programming and control operations (Mazak, Fanuc, Heidenhain, Siemens) is an asset
- API threading experience is an asset

Shift: Morning, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Thursday
