KX Yorkville is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our integrated health team.
We are a premium health facility in Yorkville offering Exercise Coaching,, Osteopathy, Fascial Stretch Therapy, Muscle Activation Techniques, IV Therapy, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, Functional Blood Testing, and nutrition and lifestyle support.
Our approach is collaborative, client-centred, and focused on helping clients improve their function, mobility, recovery, physical performance, and long-term health.
We are looking for a Physiotherapist who is clinically confident, professional, hands-on, and interested in working within an integrated model of care. Internationally educated Physiotherapists are encouraged to apply, provided they are currently registered or eligible to become registered to practise physiotherapy in Ontario.
About the Role
As a Physiotherapist at KX Yorkville, you will provide high-quality assessments, treatment, rehabilitation programming, and ongoing clinical support to clients seeking help with pain, mobility limitations, injury recovery, posture, physical performance, and injury prevention.
You will work closely with our Exercise Coaches, manual therapists, nutrition team, and Client Care team to provide a coordinated and seamless client experience.
Many of our clients participate in the KX 12-Week Exercise & Lifestyle Program. Your assessments, treatment notes, exercise recommendations, and clinical insights may help inform their training program and broader care plan.
This role is best suited to a practitioner who values independent clinical decision-making while also enjoying collaboration within a premium, multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments, including relevant movement, mobility, strength, postural, neurological, and orthopaedic testing.
- Provide evidence-informed physiotherapy treatment using manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, education, and other appropriate treatment techniques.
- Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans based on each client’s goals, assessment findings, functional needs, and clinical presentation.
- Support clients with musculoskeletal injuries, chronic or recurring pain, mobility restrictions, postural concerns, exercise limitations, and return-to-activity goals.
- Prescribe and progress corrective, rehabilitative, and performance-based exercises.
- Consider how movement patterns, strength, mobility, breathing mechanics, training load, recovery, and lifestyle factors may contribute to a client’s presentation.
- Clearly explain assessment findings, treatment goals, recommended frequency of care, expected progress, and home-care recommendations.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant SOAP notes, treatment records, and clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with KX Exercise Coaches and other practitioners to coordinate treatment plans and support safe, effective exercise programming.
- Contribute to an integrated client experience across exercise, therapy, recovery, and health services.
- Uphold KX standards for professionalism, cleanliness, punctuality, communication, privacy, and client care.
- Support client retention through thoughtful treatment planning, follow-up, education, rebooking, and continuity of care.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is clinically skilled, warm, professional, and aligned with delivering a premium client experience. You should be comfortable practising independently while remaining open to communication and collaboration with a broader health and performance team.
We are especially interested in candidates who have:
- Strong musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, biomechanical, and functional assessment skills.
- Experience treating acute and chronic musculoskeletal concerns, postural dysfunction, sports-related injuries, and exercise-related limitations.
- Strong manual therapy and therapeutic exercise skills.
- A practical, movement-focused, and whole-person approach to care.
- Experience creating progressive rehabilitation and return-to-exercise plans.
- Excellent communication and client education skills.
- The ability to explain clinical findings and treatment plans clearly and confidently.
- An interest in exercise, physical performance, proactive health, recovery, and longevity.
- A professional, polished, and client-centred approach.
- The confidence to recommend appropriate treatment frequency and establish clear plans of care.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Physiotherapy degree or equivalent physiotherapy education.
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
- Professional liability insurance that meets all applicable regulatory requirements.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical physiotherapy experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong understanding of professional standards, informed consent, privacy, documentation, and scope of practice.
- Availability for part-time or full-time clinical hours, with the opportunity to expand based on client demand.
What We Offer
- A premium Yorkville facility with an established and health-conscious client base.
- A professional, high-end treatment environment designed to support an elevated client experience.
- Integration with Exercise Coaching, Osteopathy, FST, MAT, HBOT, IV Therapy, Functional Blood Testing, and nutrition and lifestyle services.
- The opportunity to work with motivated clients who are proactive about their health, physical performance, recovery, and longevity.
- Performance-based compensation growth based on clinical experience, schedule commitment, client demand, retention, documentation standards, and contribution to the integrated KX care model.
- Support from our Client Care and operations teams with appointment booking, client communication, invoicing, and administrative coordination.
- Growth opportunities as the KX therapy department continues to expand.
- A collaborative team culture focused on client outcomes, service excellence, and long-term continuity of care.
Who This Role Is Best For
This position is best suited to a Physiotherapist who wants to be part of a modern, integrated health facility rather than working within a traditional, isolated treatment-room model.
You should enjoy working with clients who are proactive about their health, exercise, recovery, physical performance, and longevity. You should also be interested in contributing to broader care plans that connect physiotherapy treatment with exercise, lifestyle, and long-term functional goals.
