General Body & Equipment is a custom industrial truck body builder with employees in Edmonton and Saskatoon. We continue to grow after more than 40 years in the business and built our reputation by consistently designing and building the highest quality custom truck bodies found on the road today. We are looking for a full-time low voltage DC automotive Electrical Technician to join our Electrical team! The successful candidate, with training in the specific areas, will be expected to do the following:
- Design and wire units
- Integrate wiring of bodies to chassis, engine and transmission
- Able to read and draw schematics
- Be a mentor to more junior technicians
- Maintain, clean and organize shop
- Be willing to learn and grow
Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Minimum grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in DC truck body wiring
- Sound knowledge of the electrical field
- Strong attention to detail
- Have your own tools
- Effective communication skills in English including written, verbal and reading
- Be able to multi-task
- Able to achieve deadlines
- Be able to lift 50 pounds
- Familiarity with tools in an industrial electrical environment an asset
- Previous shop experiences an asset

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
