Your Role: Junior Applications Specialist
As a Junior Applications Specialist, you'll work alongside our experienced Applications and Engineering teams to develop automation solutions for customers across a variety of industries. You'll assist with reviewing customer requirements, preparing proposals, developing concepts, and supporting projects from the quotation stage through to handoff.

What You'll Do
- Assist with reviewing customer RFQs and project requirements
- Support the development of proposals, quotations, and preliminary budgets
- Work with suppliers to obtain pricing for materials and equipment
- Create and update equipment layout drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Assist in developing technical documentation and project specifications
- Collaborate with Sales, Project Management, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering teams
- Participate in internal design and proposal review meetings
- Help identify technical challenges and contribute to practical solutions
- Support the preparation of customer presentations when required
- Build positive working relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal team members
- Attend customer visits and industry events as opportunities arise
- Travel up to 25% as required
What You'll Bring
- Degree or diploma in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
- 0–3 years of experience in industrial automation, manufacturing, engineering, or a related technical field (co-op and internship experience is considered an asset)
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Microsoft Office
- Strong mechanical aptitude and an eagerness to learn new technologies
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively while managing multiple priorities
- Experience with robotics, PLCs, controls, pneumatics, or hydraulics is considered an asset but is not required

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
