We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Window & Door Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting and repairing windows and doors, ensuring they meet quality standards and customer expectations. Company vehicle and tools provided to complete the work. Strictly Monday thru Friday, days only.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose issues with existing windows and doors. Provide all service and relative technical support to window and door items.
- Extensive knowledge of window and door installation procedures.
- Able to trouble shoot and correct issues.
- Apply caulking, weatherstripping, and sealing techniques to prevent leaks and improve insulation.
- Effectively able to communicate with colleagues and customers to convey prudent information.
- Extensive knowledge of the geographical area of Windsor and Essex/Kent Counties.
- Use construction experience to assess site conditions, prepare surfaces, and ensure safety compliance during all tasks
Experience
- Proven experience working with hand tools such as screwdrivers, hammers, drills, and saws in a construction or renovation setting.
- Background in construction is highly desirable
- Familiarity with caulking techniques and schematics related to window and door systems
- Experience in restoration projects or construction painting is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently on-site.
