Eganridge Resort, Golf Club & Spa is looking for a Gardener. This position is Seasonal, part time, and has flexible hours to meet the needs for the resort. Looking for someone to start now (seasonally) and then return in Spring 2027, with full understanding of the job requirements.
For the right candidate - we will be looking for a seasonal, part-time snow clearer/labourer for winter 26/27 - so there is a chance of a winter position too.
As a Gardener, your primary responsibility is to create and maintain aesthetically pleasing and healthy outdoor spaces. You will be responsible for cultivating and caring for plants, flowers, and shrubs, ensuring that the landscape thrives in all seasons. This role requires a combination of horticultural knowledge, practical skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Planting & Garden Design
- Watering, and working with other areas of the resort to ensure watering happens when you're not there.
- Weeding, Pruning & Trimming
- Soil Care
- Maintain equipment in clean and working condition.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in gardening or a related field.
- Knowledge of plants, horticulture, and landscaping techniques.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and prolonged outdoor activity.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing outdoor spaces.
- Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Familiarity with gardening tools and equipment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
