We are a growing Sport Surfacing company looking to add and experienced equipment operator/driver. Our projects stretch across Ontario working for municipalities, commercial and residential clients.
Applicants should have at least 3 years of Machine Operator experience. They will be given access to a company truck and gas card to get to yard and to sites, a clean driving abstract with a “A” restricted (or AZ) driver's license or full G license.
Job Description:
At Court Surface Specialists we build and maintain outdoor playing surfaces which include tennis courts, basketball courts, pickleball courts, etc. Our Season runs from April to the end of November, weather pending. You will run equipment as well as tow the equipment to and from sites. You will also be required to perform general labor work and assist in the construction of the court as needed. Looking for someone who wants to grow with the company and run a crew.
Travel is required for some projects. The company will cover hotel expenses and pay meal allowances for these projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
MUST BE ABLE TO OPERATE EQUIPMENT including Mini Excavators and Skid Steers in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the company's operating safety policies and procedures.
Will be required to excavate material for court areas and follow grade. Work with team and independently. Must be able to load dump trucks with material. Trenching around Perimeter will be required to install drainage.
Courts range in size from 1800 Sq/Ft to 24,000sq/Ft.
MUST ASSIST GROUND CREW WITH GENERAL LABOUR IN ADDITION TO OPERATING EQUIPMENT.
Responsibilities also include but not limited to;
- Loading, Off-loading, and hauling of equipment and materials.
- Towing of 2 or 3-axle trailers loaded with misc. materials and equipment
- Assist is general construction operations.
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis is mandatory.
- Applicants must have a class A, AR, or AZ or G driver’s license with a clean abstract.

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
