The Country Day School (CDS) is seeking an experienced, Ontario-certified teacher who is passionate about teaching Middle and Senior School History. The ideal candidate will have certification to teach in Ontario and familiarity with numerous focus areas within Canadian and World Studies (Civics, Canadian History, Modern and Ancient World History). History specialist qualifications and independent school experience will be considered assets. We are seeking a teacher whose practice embodies our principles of an expert teacher:

The curriculum at CDS is balanced with extensive athletic, arts and extra-curricular programs. This position is for a vacancy commencing September 2026.

Salary Range: $66,000 to $96,500 for less than 6 years of experience and $96,500 to $125,000 for 6 or more years of experience.

Pension: Participation in the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan (OTPP) when applicable.
