Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Contract Project Manager to lead a large-scale hardware refresh initiative across multiple retail locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the replacement and deployment of IT hardware across retail stores while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end delivery of hardware refresh projects across multiple retail locations.
Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
Coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, field technicians, logistics teams, and client representatives.
Oversee procurement, inventory tracking, shipping, and deployment activities.
Monitor project progress and ensure milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
Lead project meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and project closeout activities.
Manage change requests and maintain project governance standards.
Ensure compliance with client requirements, safety standards, and deployment procedures.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of Project Management experience leading IT infrastructure or hardware deployment projects.
Experience managing multi-site retail technology rollouts or refresh programs.
Strong understanding of hardware deployment, asset management, logistics, and field operations.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, SharePoint, and project management tools.
Experience working with vendors and third-party service providers.
Preferred Qualifications
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management certification.
Experience with POS systems, network equipment, workstations, tablets, kiosks, or retail technology deployments.
Experience managing nationwide or regional retail refresh programs.
Knowledge of ITIL principles and change management processes.
