Capital Construction (2007) Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Working Construction Supervisor or Carpentry Foreman to oversee and execute out-of-town commercial construction projects across Ontario and occasionally out of Province. This role is suited to a self-sufficient, highly organized supervisor capable of managing projects while working away from home for extended periods. Salary is commensurate with experience.
Qualifications
· Journeyman Carpentry background an asset
· Gold Seal Certification considered an asset
· Strong computer skills and comfort with digital project documentation
· Excellent organizational, planning, scheduling, and communication skills
· Ability to work independently while maintaining strong coordination with head office
Experience
· 5–8 years of construction supervision experience is preferred
· Experience managing projects with values ranging from $100,000 to $6 million
· Previous experience on remote or out-of-town projects considered an asset
Duties
· Oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects
· Coordinate subtrades, site personnel, materials, equipment, and deliveries
· Act as the primary on-site representative, liaising with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and the Project Manager
· Maintain site safety, quality control, scheduling, and daily reporting
· Perform hands-on work when required, depending on project size and staffing
· Communicate regularly with head office to ensure alignment on schedule, costs, and project milestones
