Position Summary
We are looking for professional, dependable, and experienced Corporate Security Guards to support our corporate, retail, and residential clients in the Greater Toronto Area . Candidates must demonstrate strong situational awareness, communication skills, and the ability to professionally de-escalate situations.
Responsibilities
- Provide a high-visibility security presence and maintain a safe environment for clients and the public
- Conduct regular patrols (interior & exterior), access control, and incident response
- Write accurate and detailed incident reports
- Enforce company and site-specific policies
- Respond to emergencies, alarms, and calls for service
- Monitor CCTV and other security systems where applicable
- Support loss prevention initiatives at designated retail locations
- Interact professionally with clients, residents, and the public
- Maintain full compliance with PSISA, CPIS standards, and Ministry guidelines
- Represent CPIS with professionalism, integrity, and customer-service focus
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence (Required)
- Minimum 1 year of professional security experience (Required)
- Experience in retail, loss prevention, concierge, or mobile patrol considered an asset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Professional appearance and conduct
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Ability to de-escalate tense situations calmly and respectfully
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is an asset
