Casual Cleaner - Sundays and Wednesdays
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Casual Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across the commercial common spaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and experience in cleaning and facilities maintenance.
The individual must be available for approximately 1.5 hours on Sundays and Wednesdays.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in commercial and facility settings
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas according to established standards
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies effectively and safely
- Ensure all cleaning duties are completed efficiently within scheduled timeframes
- Adhere to health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Snow removal at the front entry of the building will be required during the winter months
Requirements
- Prior experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and thoroughness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks which may involve bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable transportation
- Basic knowledge of maintenance procedures is advantageous but not required
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures diligently
Pay: $300.00 per month
