Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Labourer for Liverpool Floor Stripping to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the removal of old flooring and preparing surfaces for new installations. This role requires physical stamina, attention to safety, and a willingness to work outdoors or in various indoor environments. The Labourer will play a vital part in ensuring high-quality flooring projects are completed efficiently and safely.
Duties
- Assist with the removal and stripping of existing floor coverings using manual tools and equipment
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and ensuring they are ready for new flooring installation
- Operate basic machinery and tools safely under supervision
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear during tasks
- Support team members in handling materials and moving equipment as needed
- Adhere to project timelines and quality standards to ensure timely completion of flooring projects
Qualifications
- Prior experience in flooring, construction, or manual labor is advantageous but not required; training will be provided
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to safety procedures and willingness to follow instructions closely
- Good teamwork skills and reliable work ethic
- Ability to work outdoors or in various indoor environments in different weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in floor stripping is a plus but not essential
- Must be able to work efficiently with minimal supervision and adhere to project deadlines
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
