SUMMARY
The successful candidate will contribute to successful Genics operations by maintaining inventory records, ensuring proper tracking of materials, and spearheading proper implementation of NetSuite ERP system. This role will also provide coverage for the Shipper/Receiver.
REQUIREMENTS
- Have strong computer skills, the ability to learn technical systems quickly and have the ability to create and understand excel spreadsheets.
- Able to understand the basic functions of manufacturing processes.
- Strong organizational skills and an eye for detail.
- Comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance.
- Demonstrated ability to read, understand and communicate in English.
- Punctual with strong attendance history.
- Experience with the RFsmart system/NetSuite preferred
- Must be comfortable with walking, climbing, standing and lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Warehouse, inventory, or stocking experience preferred
- Determine method of shipment and prepare bills, SDS sheets and other shipping documents.
- Assemble containers and crates, pack goods to be shipped, and prepare identifying information and shipping instructions.
- Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks, etc.
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods.
- Unpack and route goods to appropriate storage areas.
- Maintain internal record-keeping systems.
- May operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Class 5 driver’s license
- Available for occasional travel to the US for work
- Forklift experience required
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional weekend availability
