This placement is designed to help you build an outstanding marketing portfolio. You'll create professional social media campaigns, develop digital marketing strategies, analyze performance, and leave with tangible work you can showcase to future employers.
Rise and Shine Psychology & Counselling is looking for an ambitious Digital Media & Content Creator Intern (or Practicum Student) who wants the opportunity to take ownership of our online presence and help shape the future of our brand.
You'll have the opportunity to create meaningful content, develop marketing strategies, analyze engagement, and build a portfolio that demonstrates real results.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute social media strategies.
- Edit short-form videos for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts.
- Design graphics and promotional materials.
- Write engaging captions and calls to action.
- Research current social media trends.
- Schedule and manage content.
- Review analytics and recommend improvements.
- Help build one of Edmonton's fastest-growing mental health brands.

Who We're Looking For
- A student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Public Relations, Business, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Someone who lives and breathes social media.
- Creative, self-motivated, and comfortable taking initiative.
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar tools is an asset.
- Someone excited about helping reduce the stigma surrounding mental health through engaging digital content.
Our Clinicians are the clinical experts—you'll be the digital media expert. We'll provide the vision and approve all content before it is published, while you'll have the opportunity to lead the creative process.
